BLESSED BE THE NAME OF THE LORD.
END TIMES, DREAMS, VISIONS, PROPHECY PING LIST PING LEVEL 1
Thank you.
Amen and Amen. It’s really an exciting time for us Christians because we KNOW that every day Jesus is one day closer to removing us from this cesspool, now called the world. Our ONLY job now is to bring as many into the fold and rescue them from the wrath of God as possible. And I still stand on His word that HE will bring in our unsaved or astray loved ones. We should actually be praising the Lord, not griping. CO
LOL Notice how few replies the Word of God gets????? THAT is why the country has been taken over. The United States as a country has kicked God out. Being the gentleman that He is, he will leave BUT with that he takes ALL of His Blessings and PROTECTION. America ought to think about that. It’s too late tho. American’s in particular think that they can always turn things around. They do NOT recognize the “season”. CO
Thanks for your kind reply.
HE AND HIS WORD
—THE ONLY STABILITY AND REFUGE IN OUR ERA.
Thx for your kind replies.
QUITE SO. QUITE SO.
However, there have been 70 views in about 30 minutes.
Praise God for that.
Thanks for your kind reply.
Also . . . it’s quite a long original post.
Many folks just don’t have the time or energy in their priority list.
I agree . . . some make The Word too low a priority.
However,it's far too simple,we need it to be a lot more complicated so we can have great long arguments about it as we water it down to more palatable levels. This would serve many of us well as we could then simply defer to others who know better (after all the mountain smokes and shakes and is not a little humbling)plus we can lose ourselves in all the details and keep some sort of face with the world.
What a precious and wise reply.
Your satirical exhortation is Tooooo true for comfort . . . I hope—in terms of many readers, anyway.!
BTW, you humble and bless me tons. I’m rarely, very rarely accused of being toooo simple! LOL.
To the shower.
Wow, weighty stuff. Thanks and prayers for wisdom for all.
Thanks for your kind reply.
Heading for the shower,
Please FREEPMAIL me with an update on your situation.
I think it’s the dogmatic certainty of Robertson’s assertion that gives many people pause. Who can know the mind of God on something like this, particularly in light of the new testament? The conventional wisdom of much of the old testament is that temporal blessings and difficulties are immediately dictated by one’s righteousness and it was clearly the conventional wisdom during Jesus’ ministry, which he challenged again and again. Really, this idea is seriously challenged in both the old and the new testaments (the book of Job, the parables of Jesus, the setting apart of Apostles and followers for special sufferings, “who sinned, this man or his parents?”, etc.)
And the specific example that Robertson cites about a pact with the devil is historically uncertain, to say the least! (How does one prove such a thing???!!!) If people have trouble embracing the idea that thousands of children are buried alive in response to the sins of their fathers as a deliberate, retributive act by God, you can hardly blame them. The best minds of Christianity have been struggling with such things since the beginning. That’s why it might be wiser to temper one’s statements about the purposes of God in any particular tragedy, particularly with the bleeding and dying still being removed from the rubble...
Luke 13:2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?
Luke 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish
Luke 13:4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
Luke 13:5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
I understand the reasonableness of your assertions.
I also know that the first hours of a disaster are often the best times to wake people up to the underlying spiritual issues that God may be highlighting.
I can’t be 100% certain of all the details of Haiti’s history vis a vis satan worship. However, in my 63 years of living, I’ve heard enough over the years that there’s far too much smoke to be no fire—in fact, the fires MUST be quite serious given the level of smoke.
That’s just what I’ve heard in the MSM over the decades.
This whitewashing of Haiti and it’s past just doesn’t was with me. There’s too much evidence been in the public domain over the years.
The children who die are in Heaven. They have it great. They got the best deal.
Those alive and suffering are another story and all Christian hearts go out to them.
Christian money and goods are pouring toward them.
SATAN WORSHIP IS A HORROR.
The bad person is not the one pointing out that it’s a horror. The bad is participating in it. The bad is the consequences from it.
PERHAPS
you fail to appreciate the great significance of
globalist Henry Kissinger asserting that Aristide was psychotic.
Henry is as dyed in the wool a globalist as there is. I don’t know the degree to which he actively worships satan but I wouldn’t be surprised at anything.
However, for him to make such a remark about such a globalist stool pigeon and fellow satan worshiper as Aristide—is hugely significant.
Not sure what you intend the msg of those Scriptures to be.
Certainly the:
but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
is going to be true for millions of people in many areas of the United States . . . from nukes and from earthquakes and from volcanoes as well as devastating weather, famine and plagues.
“Not sure what you intend the msg of those Scriptures to be.”
Hmm, I thought you would easily understand as you are certainly one of the brightest folks I’ve talked to. Jesus clearly points out that sin isn’t necessarily the reason for catastrophe. That’s all.
Not to be taken one way or the other.
Here’s something that I’m confused about. Maybe you can help me figure this out.
How come Haiti was destroyed and the Dominican Republic was left untouched?
After all they share the same island of Hispanola.
Do earthquake fault lines stop at artificial man-made international borders?
