There are a couple of instances in the New Testament where Jesus dealt with this type of issue. In Matthew 13, he stated that those who died when a building collapsed will answer to judgment just the same as you and me. In John 9, the disciples asked Jesus about a man born blind and whether it was due to his sin or his parents’ sin. Jesus answered that it had nothing to do with the sins of either; rather, it was so that God’s work might be displayed.

When I see things like what happened in Haiti, I think about these principles. God judges everyone whether they die in a tragedy or in their bed at 100 years of age. He also uses all situations for His glory and for His will to be accomplished. I presume nothing else.

Well said! The only thing we need to do now is pray for these people and assist them in any way we can. A co-worker of mine is from Haiti and a collection was put up for him so he can help his family.

Another spot-on outlook.

FundaMENTALists on this thread are still pointing fingers and making claims that they have the Bible and God's intent all figured out like Robertson claims to have done.

Like the Bible says, In the end times, there will be many false profits and proclaimers from God. Robertson will repel many potential Christians over this. The idiot Pastor wannabe needs to shut his mouth and get off the T.V.
