Pat Robertson has a pretty good track record of saying the most absolutely dumb-ass things.

He does. There are many Christians in Haiti. Is he saying that they are cursed as well?

What is the saying? "Better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt..."

His position has nothing to do with the number of Christians in Haiti; it appears throughout the Bible that God has rendered judgment on a people even though that people had believers among them. Again, as stated before, the timing of his belief statement was unnecessary.

Not to be defending Pat the Flap, but Haiti is overcome with demonic activity; they even had a Satanic priest as president. Nothing on that island glorifies Christ.
