Actually, this may be due to an attempt to Google Bomb the term “Islam is..”
If you do the same thing with “Koran is”, “Quaran is”, “Allah is” or “Mohammed is” you get similar results to what they describe for the other religions.

Google’s machines will block Google Bombing attempts so there may have been a move recently to Google Bomb the term “Islam is” that resulted in this.

Only government can censor. Google is a private company therefore cannot “censor”. They can only make editorial or business decisions.

I just typed in “Islam is evil” and the first choice on the list is “Islam isn’t Evil.” Hows that for ya?

Must be in the UK. This is what I came up with:

1,520,000 for “islam is the devil”.
111,000 for “islam is fake”.
46,700 for “islam is evil”.
5,050 for “islam is a cult”.
54,700 for “islam sucks”.
293,000 for “islam is hateful”.

Search engine Google has been accused of censoring its results after users discovered it never suggests search terms when it comes to Islam.

And life was breathed into Yahoo! for the second time :-)

I now use Bing. I like it almost too much.
