I have read the account of the creation in Genesis, but as an agnostic, I only see it as a myth. As an agnostic, I believe in evolution.

You are not a very good agnostic if you believe in evolution. Agnostics are essentially skeptics, unwilling to accept something on the say-so of self-appointed authorities and flimsy evidence, which is exactly what evolution does and is.
I am not a theist. (And I am not an agnostic. I do not believe in God, period. An agnostic says, “I don’t know if there is a God or not.”) I am definitely not an evolutionist.
