Conservatism's General Rejection of Biblical Christianity

The Conservative movement of today basically consists of individuals with various personal beliefs (both religious and ideological), but conservatism in general sadly rejects outright the absolute authority of the Bible, the Holy Word of Almighty God. It is a “bestselling” book widely reverenced, but too many Conservatives reject its Divine authority and preeminence. These “Subjective Conservatives” cannot see out of this box called time, and thus they are oblivious to the realities of Holy Scripture truth. This includes the coming establishment of the literal Kingdom of Almighty God on earth, as well as their own eternity destiny (John 3:3-5; Romans 8:5-8; 1 Cor. 2:12-14; Jude 1:19).

Many conservatives in the New Media are on a “suicide alert” today trying to cope with the present realities at hand. One in particular is radio host Michael Savage. He is the most moved and passionate about our declining American culture and government. Sadly though, Mr. Savage and others will not be objective about the realities of Almighty God and His Word to receive its simple message (Acts 16:31; Romans 14:17; 1 Cor. 15:2-4). Why not, you might ask? Well, for one thing a lack of genuine humility will prevent anyone from turning to God and knowing the truth (1 Pet. 5:6; Matt. 11:28-30). Committed and sincere but blinded in their pride, they are thus doomed to their own subjective world view of reality (John 5:37-41; Rom. 7:24-25).

LOL at using Michael Savage, a Jew, as an example of how many conservatives reject biblical Christianity. Talk about a loaded example.

Then what does the “establishment of the literal Kingdom of Almighty God on earth” portend for the governments now in existence that claim absolute sovereignty over the earth?

Are these governments going to be part of that kingdom? Be destroyed or absorbed or what?

Personally, I derive my strength as a conservative through the Holy Scriptures. It is the moral compass I use. Although, I also recognize that I am a sinner. Nonetheless, it is a comfort to know it is there.

This is a bit of a straw man. Most American conservatives are believers, despite what you say. They are not in the majority among all voters, which is why we are where we are politically. But they are the core that makes America what it is.

As for the rest of your article, it is good to remind one another that despite various reversals and apparent defeats, God is still God. We need to stand firm, continue to look up, and continue to defend the corner of the battlefield God has assigned each of us. Pray and work. Work and pray. And don’t be afraid to push back, because God is with us.

He does not believe the realities of the Bible.. I was on his show and he lost it on me when I confronted him on that. I know Jews who truly believe not just believe and practice a relative view of the Bible. Savage is not a true believer of the Holy Scripture. Jewish or biblical.

Subjective conservatives? How about the “compassionate conservatives” who can’t see beyond their blind faith.
Many of us are not “big government” Huckster/Romney types. We find no authority for robbing us through taxation to redistribute wealth for any “moral” purpose...whether for ACORN or to give a church tax breaks and subsidies.
Theft is theft regardless of whether some guy claiming to be a messenger of God supports the theft through interpreting his “holy scriptures.”
Before you start casting stones at “subjective conservatives,” start thinking about how many ways “compassionate conservatives” try to loot the treasury to pay for what they deem is good and noble. Eight years of George Bush was enough. Let’s return to Reagan instead.

In the end all nations will go against Israel at Armageddon. The believes in the Messiah of Israel of all these nations will enter into the Kingdom.

A ridiculous argument, conveniently lacking any specifics. One might as well talk about “Banana purchasers’ rejection of Christianity” or “Why Missourians deny Christ.”

” give a church tax breaks and subsidies.”

Churches do not receive subsidies that I am aware of. They are exempt from property taxes.

Conservatism is not a religion nor is it meant to be a full and encompassing replacement philosophy for ethics and religion. Instead it is the one political and social world view that recognizes and cherishes what we have inherited from our heritage which includes religious truth.

Its first principle is Order. Order from God for man and Order for society.

It is wonderfully in tune with those that hold Christ's Kingdom as paramount and is completely the opposite of the revolutionary lefts secular and humanistic view of the world and its purpose.

Our greatest challenge in this world is not between the denominations or even the religions but between the orthodox and the revolutionaries.

Concur.

I personally have a bit of trouble with the "Turn the other cheek" philosophy, but I figured it out that if I grab the other guy by the collar he'll still be within swinging range after he gets done with his second slap. Then it's MY turn.

There are no perfect Christians. It's a work in progress.

I didn't read the article, but am I to assume that the the author assumes that liberals are more Christian than we are????? They believe is stealing the fruits of our labor and giving it to loafers. They believe in the murder of children (abortion). They believe that people who participate in deviant sexual acts are normal.

Freepers can feel free to add to the list.

Then, if I follow the logic, all national governments are in opposition to God and will thus be destroyed by Him. Yes?

Well my friend sorry to hear that. Do you believe the Bible with all your heart, soul, and mind? It is Almighty God’s Word. The majority of Conservatives do not believe it. That is a fact. The Conservative ideology without Almighty God is bankrupt... That was the point being made. We all need a Savior and our good works will not stand in the Day of Judgment. Roms 3:23 Have faith in Almighty God not the Conservative ideal. Conservatism is the best and only ideology that will contain the unbridle passions of many and give humanity freedom to enjoy the fruits and blessing of this fallen world. but in the end we need Christ. Romans 10:4

I totally agree with your statement but... we lack the perfection or righteousness that Almighty God demands of us Roman 3:23 etc.. We need that righteousness which God has provided in His Son Jesus Christ Romans 10:4. That was the point I was trying to make. The Kingdom of God will be indeed a conservative utopia under Christ reign.
