Again I am telling you it is Jesus gospel we should be listening to not the church interpreted gospel of Paul.
There was a whole nother story going on when Jesus showed up in that period of Israel's history. First of all there was no Israel. It had been wiped out 700 years before Jesus came. Only Judah was active as a nation but not Israel. Judah and Israel are two separate nations. OT scripture, which is all Paul and the Apostles had, told of a Messiah who was going to bring back the Kingdom of Israel aka the Kingdom of God. Jesus “good news” was that Israel was going to be regathered and reestablished as a Kingdom.
Jesus even said in Matthew “I came only for the lost sheep of the House of Israel.” It's really very plain what the gospel was and Paul just made it available in different wording to those who were not familiar with the Torah.
