“Greater love hath no man than he who lays down his life for his friends.”

Pagans and atheists and Roman Catholics have done that.

The greatest love is still a sin if not done in Calvinist belief?

Your thoughts.

Hebrews 11:6 "And without faith it is impossible to please Him (God), for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him."

So if one forfeits his life for the sake of others without faith in God, it is an act still tainted with unbelief, which is sin.

So how does one get faith? Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast."
