A few people have told me that Jesus is but a crutch. My answer was, well, most of us are spiritual cripples. I get comfort from leaning on Him.
Every time I hear the word "lean" or a derivative of it , these verses come up:
Prv:3:5: "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
