Bert is right, from a male perspective it seems women are overly concerned that we “know who you are,” but no matter your sex, we are all self-centered and by default evil.

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked”– Jer. 17:9

For all the wonderful and true statements in Gonzo’s post, I don’t see the Gospel explained, which is the solution to Jeremiah’s statement. See below:

Hmmm....

Well, from a female perspective it seems that men are overly concerned that we "know who you are,"

But as you say, no matter the sex we are all born with a sinful nature that is "by default, self-centered and narcissistic."

To signal out one sex over another with this definition is quite insulting.

The most "self-centered and narcissistic" person I know of is male. The POTUS.

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked”– Jer. 17:9

All praise and glory to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob for the sacrifice that enables us through faith to be redeemed from this state of death and wickedness.
