So this is bound to bring up your reputation around here.
As a FReeper, I appreciate real conservatives, even if some of them are Catholics. Shawn Hannity, for instance, is a good conservative - though some FReepers don’t think so highly of him. But if he were to push his Catholicism rather than his conservatism, he’d immediately lose a lot of his Protestant conservative support.
One has to make a distinction between his political convictions and his religious ones.
