Would someone please explain to me why a “school of prophets” would EVER need to solicit donations? ANYBODY can spend fifteen minutes or so waking down the street and find a dollar in change. A “prophet” can then take this dollar to the nearest convenience store and purchase the winning lottery ticket, when that money runs out he can buy another winning lottery ticket. Trust me, if “prophecy” could be taught, cities would suddenly be faced with a severe shortage of pimps, hookers and crack dealers.

The same reason fortune tellers operate out such ratty little store fronts.

It's fakery for suckers.

Sadly, some are suckered by it.
