I've seen some incredibly stupid and misguided initiatives by "conservatives" in my day, but this one takes the cake.

Because the Bible has been rewritten to conform with the agenda of "liberals," a self-described "conservative" is spearheading an effort to rewrite it to his liking.

Bad move- very bad move. If, on face value, you feel something doesn’t conform with your belief, check your assumptions and study deeper. You either need to clarify your understanding, clarify your belief, or reconcile. I’ve seen how the left tries to use the Bible (friends with a radical leftist theology major- that is a challenge) and none of their best arguments holds water.
