I don’t think this anything new. There have been Anglican Use Roman Catholic parishes for years.

Only a few, and only in the U.S., and only under the authority of the local Latin Rite bishop.

This will mean there are many more, they will be worldwide, and they will have their own "reporting structure," so Latin Rite bishops who aren't supportive of reverent liturgy and orthodox teaching won't be able to chase them off their turf.

And it sounds like they'll have permission to continue to ordain married men to the priesthood (not just former Anglican clergy), so that will be another change.
