Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

our unwillingness to kowtow to the HARSH, ASSAULTIVE, DERISIVE, HAUGHTY DEMANDS of the naysayers

responsible for the acrimony?

So, Jesus was responsible for the attitudes of the Pharisees, satan's sons, white-washed tombs, vipers . . . according to that reasoning.

I'm sure Jesus would be very happy to know about your assessment of His responsibility in those dialogues and relationships, situations. Very impressive.

This would never be believable, as fiction. Incredible.

I agree. Look at all those egging on a lunatic instead of taking care of him. For shame, sir.

Actually, Jesus frequently taught in public. And he DID answer the Pharisees and Sadducee on multiple occasions.

Mar 2:16 And the scribes of the Pharisees, when they saw that he was eating with sinners and tax collectors, said to his disciples, “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

Mar 2:24 And the Pharisees were saying to him, “Look, why are they doing what is not lawful on the Sabbath?”

Mar 7:5 And the Pharisees and the scribes asked him, “Why do your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat with defiled hands?”

Mar 10:2 And Pharisees came up and in order to test him asked, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?”

Luk 5:17 On one of those days, as he was teaching, Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting there, who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was with him to heal.

Luk 17:20 Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them, “The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed,

Jhn 3:1 Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.

Given the many warnings against false prophets, how can anyone follow scripture and NOT ask what makes you believe this fellow is a prophet - or even to describe what it is he proclaims?

BTW - if John the Baptist could doubt Jesus without Jesus being angry, then Mr Rogers the Baptist can doubt Jedediah the Internet Prophet without making Jesus mad.
