One almost wonders . . .
are we seeing . . . some Jr High sociology/psychology experiment wherein
some characters with little to no experience in the topics concerned . . . & negligible, IF ANY, understanding . . .
decide to see
HOW MUCH, HOW HIGH,
they can pile on
MEAN-NESS, ARROGANCE, cluelessness & SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS PUREED WITH ABSURDITY
all perhaps to just see how big a chorus of naysayers they can get to join the rabid fault-finding alley cat garbage can chorus.
All without a clue as to the spirit such stuff erupts out of, operates in . . . and certainly no clue about HARVEST TIME . . . in Maya Angelou’s words.
Fascinating . . . in a very sad sort of way.
Can you imagine the dinner time conversations in homes led by such spirits and attitudes? Or the conflictedness of most, if not all their primary reltionships? One doesn’t tend to just spew part time on FR.
Naw, personalities, priorities and habits are MUCH MORE habitually consistent, than that.
Of course, the REAL crunch tends to be with teens . . . and with an empty nest.
God have mercy.

One version of Maya’s
HARVEST TIME
“I am alarmed and saddened. Probably our greatest teacher, which is nature, has been unsuccessful in teaching us lessons. Season in and season out, you plant tomato seeds. If anything comes up, you’ll have thousands, millions and millions of seeds. The problem is that when harvest time comes, we think we can harvest oranges or onions.
Still, we plant cruelty, unkindness, violence, greed - in our families, in our communities, in our state, in our nation, in our world - and think we have the right to be disappointed when we don’t harvest kindness, generosity, patience, intelligence, courtesy, love and peace.
It’s a wise thing to nurture courage. None of us is born with courage. You develop courage incrementally in small things, then a little in larger things, three to four times a day, little by little, until you develop enough courage to defend yourself, to really recognize when you’re being assaulted. Not with a sword, a bomb or a poison dart, but by ignoring us, trying to obliterate the role of humanity. Then you can learn to defend others.”

You have it within your means to end the acrimony.
Explain what these visions mean, and how they bring glory to God.
See? It will be simple!

You have a much more forgiving nature for those who abuse Christianity and its doctrines. The nature and the theology of Christ is well catechized by the Church. Street corner lunatics shouting in the night with empty eyes are not prophets. They are to be helped, not encouraged. You are in that line of business, are you not? Why would you not help him? Why are you encouraging him to pursue the madness?
It’s gotten really nasty here lately. People don’t realize that if he is truly one of God’s anointed, they are in deep doo with God.
