What do you define as "many of us"? These threads have had plenty of FReepers who oppose the Catholic Church on just about everything and they also think J-d and his followers are blasphemous.
And there are those of us who don’t criticize everything Jedediah says because we are more into the prophetic than catholics are. That’s just the nature of our churches. Some fundamental churches believe that the gifts and prophesy were for the time of Jesus and not now. There are lots of folks who believe it to be real and lots who don’t. It’s the way we’re taught, usually from childhood.
