MarkBsnr, I’d have thought that if the two of us agree on something - ANYTHING - then,
A) FreeRepublic would use it to raise funds, since miracles don’t happen very often...at least, not in MOST people’s reality, and
B) it would be seen as evidence of overwhelming obviousness, as in, “Water is wet” or “Obama Stinks”!
But I would also note that in our hundreds of posts to each other, for all the heated exchanges and frustration, I can’t recall you ever telling me I wasn’t worthy of hearing the truth. I don’t recall ever telling you that until you left the Catholic Church, became a Baptist, were baptized by immersion and contributed at least two food items to the next pot luck, that you couldn’t have an explanation of what I believed.
I think it speaks VOLUMES that neither of us can get Jedediah or Quix to give an explanation...because they ‘follow Jesus’ and know we are too unspiritual to understand.
I’m sure we’ll debate on future threads, sometimes with more passion than appropriate, but it ought to give pause to Jedediah’s supporters to see us in agreement.

That’s well said, and it’s one of the most perplexing things about some well-known posters here. They really think that we will accept their judgment of us over God’s; they think their mercy and approval is more important than God’s mercy and approval. I guess they think they are superior to God, that we should automatically feel guilty if we disagree, because if they are annoyed with us, then God must be also.
I’ve seen that time and time again—legalistic phariseeism, religious lawgivers, prophetic judges—over people who do and and will never accept their scattered, non-unified, and earthy “authority.”

I have no idea which or what combination is the case in any other individual’s life I’ve contended with on this thread.
Sometimes it may appear one way in a sequence of exchanges and sometimes another. It may appear more one way with a given individual.
