MY WORDS SPEAK TRUTH
The Joshua Chronicles , Bible | Jedediah

Posted on 10/15/2009 5:56:33 PM PDT by Jedediah

Oracles of my servants are true and report what I am doing today for as my word forget the former things behold I do a new thing and I shall speak it through whom I choose without man's approval or their vain imaginations rooted in pride and knowledge of the flesh and not the kingdom for they know not of my ways as long as they seek to admire their flesh .

So "my" chosen and few shall speak of new things and things to come and the shallow minded shall not conceive the things of the Spirit of The Lord that they reject in prideful wanderings for truly they are only a desert unto themselves and those blind that follow these empty sounding gongs absent of The Father's love .

So come ! To the Spring of Living Waters for I shall quench your thirst through The Spirit of The Lord for I AM THE WORD and only My Spirit can reveal this to you by The Father's will .

Will you come ? Or wrestle with me for day is breaking and your Morningstar calls to those in " humble abide " .

Abide with me and fast the earth !

1 Corinthians 1:20-22 20 Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. 22 For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom;

1 Corinthians 2:13-15 13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy[a] Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.

Isaiah 43:18-21 18 “ Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. 19 Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert. 20 The beast of the field will honor Me, The jackals and the ostriches, Because I give waters in the wilderness And rivers in the desert, To give drink to My people, My chosen. 21 This people I have formed for Myself; They shall declare My praise.

***We prefer the words of Jesus.

Group think?***

You may have heard of our group. It is called Christianity. As opposed to a follower of the non Christian Swedenborg, lunatic and creator of a church that for outsider observers is indistinguishable from Bahai or the UUs. Rev Sun Myung Moon also comes to mind.

***I am nor never claimed to be ‘God’. I achieve Divine Union through contemplative prayer which is something I learned from your church.***

Divine union, eh? Contemplative prayer is good and holy. Claiming divine union with God isn’t. Any other lunatic ideas that won’t stick when you blame the Church for them?

***For beginners and proficients, it’s sometimes difficult to discern in the spirit where we end and the Holy Spirit begins, such is the feeling of Oneness.***

Feeling? The false prophets and would-be antiChrists created much feeling in themselves and in their adherents. I’ve been in a megachurch where the mob emotion was driven hard, not to the point of a Hitler rally, but still with the same elements. A Catholic Mass, particularly a Greek or Latin Mass creates a feeling of awe, holiness and the presence of God. A megachurch creates the same feeling as a successful political rally.

***You should respect this and not mock it.***

If you are not Christian, why are you on a Christian / apocalyptic Jewish thread?

No. I will not ask the circumstances.

Humblegunner, I take back everything that I have ever said to you. With these two words, I embrace you like a brother...

My keyboard is now working again...

***I don’t believe Jedediah is a false prophet. ***

Given the evidence, I’d say that you are backing a three legged horse with no eyesight trailing by a furlong.

***God uses us just as we are.***

From the logic of things, Maker’s Mark is much more likely.

***So far all I’ve seen Jedediah do is lead us to God, using also scripture.***

There are four little books that are overlooked by many so called Christians - Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. How about reading those instead of listening to a lunatic?

***Why is it that spirit-filled believers understand prophecy and others don’t?***

Why is it that those who most vehemently deny Gnosticism at the roots of their beliefs show it most clearly in debate?

***All manner of catty comments have claimed all manner of false witness stuff about him because he has used language and a perspective and a sub-culture style***

You must admit that he uses language that points the identification of God at himself, and the Scripture he uses is Jewish apocalyptic scripture, with odd and distant references from elsewhere in the OT to back them up, and occasionally throwing in some irrelevant Paul.

***I think I’m outta here for the present.

It’s doubtful this thread will recover to any semblence of sanity . . . much less authentic Christianity.***

That’s because it did not start out that way right from the title in all caps and the rambling introduction, followed by a rambling post to the introduction.

I can sure understand why. It’s nasty here.

Yes, it sucks when nobody believes in your freshly minted internet prophet.

I’ve never seen folks beat up on a person like these ‘christians’ do here.

Jesus told us to beat up on false prophets.

Were you out of the office that day?

Are you sure it wasn’t? Perhaps it is J-d bible code for the frogs.

He joined in March of this year. I’ve been on a couple of threads debating him and his reality.

It’s not that you agree or disagree with me, it’s the attacks made on a fellow Christian. NO, I do not think God is pleased with you.

You may wish to check the mirror.

If I may remind you: ***Why is it that spirit-filled believers understand prophecy and others don’t?***

This is a Gnostic statement worthy of Simon Magus.

Why is it that those who most vehemently deny Gnosticism at the roots of their beliefs show it most clearly in debate?

Amazing.

You have reminded me of an observation I made earlier today: Why is it that those who most vehemently shout "Christ alone" at Catholics (as an indictment of the rites and sacraments of the Church) are the same who embrace opportunistic profits of gaud on the internets?

Christians do not claim to be Christ.
