MY WORDS SPEAK TRUTH
The Joshua Chronicles , Bible | Jedediah

Posted on 10/15/2009 5:56:33 PM PDT by Jedediah

Oracles of my servants are true and report what I am doing today for as my word forget the former things behold I do a new thing and I shall speak it through whom I choose without man's approval or their vain imaginations rooted in pride and knowledge of the flesh and not the kingdom for they know not of my ways as long as they seek to admire their flesh .

So "my" chosen and few shall speak of new things and things to come and the shallow minded shall not conceive the things of the Spirit of The Lord that they reject in prideful wanderings for truly they are only a desert unto themselves and those blind that follow these empty sounding gongs absent of The Father's love .

So come ! To the Spring of Living Waters for I shall quench your thirst through The Spirit of The Lord for I AM THE WORD and only My Spirit can reveal this to you by The Father's will .

Will you come ? Or wrestle with me for day is breaking and your Morningstar calls to those in " humble abide " .

Abide with me and fast the earth !

1 Corinthians 1:20-22 20 Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. 22 For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom;

1 Corinthians 2:13-15 13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy[a] Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.

Isaiah 43:18-21 18 “ Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. 19 Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert. 20 The beast of the field will honor Me, The jackals and the ostriches, Because I give waters in the wilderness And rivers in the desert, To give drink to My people, My chosen. 21 This people I have formed for Myself; They shall declare My praise.

Our vet says yogurt is good for dogs’ digestion and their skin.

No slithy toves on the road; I guess the Sheriff’s department cleared them out ;-).

Nearly ALL Christian clergy where clerical vestments of some form or another. The fact that some have a problem with that indicates how far removed from Christianity they are.

Are you more comfortable when your "prophets" look like the men below?

I don’t believe Jedediah is a false prophet. His grammar and english aren’t the best, but what has been his educational background? God uses us just as we are. I’m not going to judge whether or not he is right or wrong here. He does have a prophetic bent. Many of us have the gift of prophecy but not the OFFICE of a prophet, which does have to be accurate in operation. So far all I’ve seen Jedediah do is lead us to God, using also scripture.

I respect rules and if the mod chides me, I’ll listen to him or her. But never you.

You save that judgment for Catholics, right?

I don’t believe Jedediah is a false prophet.

Based on WHAT? He hasn't said ANYTHING intelligible.

So far all I’ve seen Jedediah do is lead us to God, using also scripture.

I've seen that he is able to cut-and-paste verses of Scripture, but I haven't seen where he has lead a single person to God and I am becoming increasingly certain that he is leading some to Hell.

I don’t believe Jedediah is a false prophet.

So you believe he is a real one.

Ok. I'll believe too, after a quick and easy test.

I find it laughable that the devotees of J-d think this is a Catholic vs. non-Catholic issue. It couldn’t be further from the truth. Is their now some secret room where the Calvinists, Baptists, Evangelicals and other Protestants are encouraging the J-dites?

I believe Mr Rogers--who has brought much wisdom to this matter--will thank us all very much for not referring to him as Catholic. ;O)

I don’t believe Jedediah is a false prophet.

And I do.

We're back to the point we've revolved around for a long time.

To claim that someone speaks words directly from God is an extraordinary claim, and needs something (anything? please?) to corroborate it. Most everything offered amounts to "he is because he is".

Why in the world should we believe these so called prophecies aren't psychotic ramblings?

It's not. Not the way you or the Jedites might think.

That's an argument for another time and place. I won't muddy the water here any worse with it.

Ha! Kind of like that super secret man club that the rad-feminists think exists, that I never get invites to.

Why is it that spirit-filled believers understand prophecy and others don’t? Maybe we all need to ask God to reveal things to us. He certainly wants to.

Heck no. I wouldn’t be near snakes no matter what. Just because they LOOK like ignorant people to some, doesn’t mean they aren’t Christians.

Lee, I'm pretty sure this is an implication that you HAVE NOT received the Holy Spirit.

Do you believe that clergy dressed in clerical vestments are Christians?

Amazing that someone who cannot judge our “prophet” false can somehow judge a fellow Freeper has not received the Holy Spirit.

The hubris is preposterous.
