I read somewhere before the soldiers took her for a Patron.
PLUIE DE ROSES Interventions de Sr Thérèse de lEnfant-Jésus pendant la guerre
I've got enough Latin to translate the title - "A Rain of Roses - Interventions of Sister Thérèse of the Child Jesus during the War". And reading the first account under "Guerre - II", it seems that a young woman, an unimaginative person, saw a vision of a very devout young soldier being embraced by St. Thérèse and presented by her with a palm -- and therefore knew he was dead. They later received the report that he had died in battle.
But I can only get every 3rd word and guess the rest . . . could somebody who is fluent in French translate an account or two? I'd be happy to do the same for any German translation that becomes necessary in the future . . . .
