I object to the misbehaviour of bigots. That can only be offensive to actual bigots. Those who are not bigots, will realize that I am not speaking to them, or of them. I cannot imagine why anyone who is not a bigot would take offense to my denunciation of bigotry.
So, while I cannot read minds, I can observe and analyze.
