Claiming to be a prophet, and speak the words of God, is an extremely serious thing.


The same can be said for a (religious) teacher, pastor, etc... I can’t imagine the anger God has towards those that lead others astray.

“It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he would cause one of these little ones to stumble.” luke 17:2

Specificly Jesus is talking about children here, but certainly a more general message can be drawn. Leading anyone astray (adult or child) is a terrible thing.

Of course. But most of them aren't saying the "words of God" in first person.

ABSOLUTELY BIBLICALLY CORRECT.

And the nonPentecostal preachers and teachers are as off the wall UNBiblical and heretically lead folks astray AT LEAST as often as Pentecostal folks do.

The double standard is incredible.
