I understand your perspective.

I don’t think you apply THE GOLDEN RULE
as consistently and fairly as you seem to think you do.
Unity has to be built on truth as well as love and The Lord’s Blood.
HE alone can manage that.
I have no trouble seeing Jedediah as contributive of such . . . unity with the pharisees will never happen.
The trouble is in defining “Pharisees.”
Seems to me that prowling around labeling everyone who disagrees with you as a “Pharisee” might be, in itself, Pharisaical! (Is that a word?) They spent, as I recall, a great deal of time and effort finding specks in the eyes of their fellow man and ignoring planks in their own eyes.
I didn’t invent that metaphor.
I’ve been around long enough to have learned that it’s not my job to draw lines. The Lord Himself gets to decide who’s “in” and who’s “out” — and his judgement may not match mine. My job is to keep my own nose clean.
