Waters of the earth are about to rise ,

Some shall meet their maker and their demise ,

Those that before " Me " have turned and shut their eyes ,

Yet to my flock , my children I Shall reveal ,

The opening of a seal ,

A promise told of long ago ,

Yet even before I open it now you shall know ,

Because you daily inquire of ME ,

Just as David and Zadok you to shall see ,

My seers , My watchmen through the night ,

I shall reveal where to be standing through this plight ,

So see my children enter in ,

To " Zion , yeah " before this begins ,

For I AM your Menorrah , your Fullness , your Light ,

Walk on My path the Father's will this very night ,

Come ! My children inquire of me ,

To be protected during this catastrophe !

For this is just the beginning for there shall be more ,

Enter into Zion , your Menorrah for I AM your door ,

This light I am shedding , this pre-emptive view ,

Is meant specifically for you ,

My obedient , My humble , My Beloved ones ! \o/

Come ! Enter in before it has begun ,

For I am your Rock ,Your Cornerstone ,

Remain in Me do not go through this alone ! ! !

2 Samuel 15:25-28 (Amplified Bible) 25Then the king told Zadok, Take back the ark of God to the city. If I find favor in the Lord's eyes, He will bring me back and let me see both it and His house. 26But if He says, I have no delight in you, then here I am; let Him do to me what seems good to Him.

27The king also said to Zadok the priest, Are you not a seer? [You and Abiathar] return to the city in peace, and your two sons with you, Ahimaaz your son and Jonathan son of Abiathar.

28See, I will wait at the fords [at the Jordan] of the wilderness until word comes from you to inform me.

1 Chronicles 14:10-11 (King James Version) 10And David enquired of God, saying, Shall I go up against the Philistines? And wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD said unto him, Go up; for I will deliver them into thine hand.

11So they came up to Baalperazim; and David smote them there. Then David said, God hath broken in upon mine enemies by mine hand like the breaking forth of waters: therefore they called the name of that place Baalperazim.

Psalm 91 1He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

3Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

4He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

5Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

6Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

7A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

8Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

9Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

10There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

11For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

12They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

13Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

14Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

15He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

16With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

If you are credible, kindly reply to post #15.

That Truth is basic knowledge to Christians. Wondering why you didn't know that.

The same amount of water as 20,000,000 years ago? How can that be, I mean with all the tsunamis and dead polar bears? ;)

One thing the Global Warming Alarmists fail to realize is that there is the same amount of water on the Earth now as there was 20,000,000 years ago.

Yep. You never really own it, you just borrow it for a little while.

My answer is as follows:
“...neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood..”

Perhaps the answer to your inquiry lies in noting that some casualties from a tsunami is hardly “all flesh” as described in the Biblical account of the flood.

If a FReeper fancies himself a prophet and posts his prophecies, can he be criticized as a false prophet or does his status as a FReeper somehow protect him?

The title implies a prophecy another flood (as was in Noah’s day).

The Bible says the test of a prophet is that if even one of his prophecies is wrong, he is a false prophet.

The Bible also says God promised never to flood the world again.

Either the Bible is wrong of this prophet is wrong.

He is a false prophet only if a prophecy does not come to pass...Kinda jumping the gun, aren't you???

Either the Bible is wrong of this prophet is wrong.

That is typically the case, look at the case of William Miller.

Point taken. However, there is no reason to believe that yesterday’s earthquake had ANYTHING to do with any end times events.

There have been earthquakes and tsunamis throughout history. They seem to be increasing, because we are so much more aware of them.

Go back to 1900 (my grandfather was alive then.) If and event like this happened then I doubt it even gets covered in the American newspapers. Maybe 1% of Americans might ever realize it happened.

Go to the 1950’s (my dad was alive then.) You might hear about it a day later on the radio or TV newscast. There would be no images from the area. Just a short one liner “there was a tsunami in Samoa yesterday that killed an estimated 100 people.”

Today. We knew the tsunami would happen before it happened. It was filmed. We saw images of it happening moments after it happened. Instead of being a far away, non-descript event it was up close and personal (despite being on the other side of the world.)

I don’t know if natural disasters are increasing (I’m doubt we have good records going back more than 100 years.) I do know our awareness of them is increasing. Every rumble or tremor is now worldwide news brought instantly to our attention.

Uh...........no. By that yardstick a soothsayer or fortune teller could be labeled a "prophet".

False prophecy can be discerned if it contradicts the deposit of faith or leads people away from the faith and causes them to go astray. Likewise, if it contradicts Scripture it may also be labeled false.

Furthermore, many "prophecies" (and that published here appears to be a good example) carry no timeline. Thus it becomes difficult to distinguish between unfulfilled prophecy and "we're still waiting". The "Rapture" is a prime example.

Finally, it should also be mentioned that just because a prediction or prophecy does come to pass, it does not ipso facto bestow the title of "prophet" on the one who made it. I predict war in the Middle East within 12 months.

There.......I'm a prophet!

Not!

In summary, prophecy can and should be tested by a number of measures for authenticity. This does not require waiting for its fulfillment. In precisely this way we know that the so called "Rapture" is pure baloney and won't happen.

He doesn’t mention a tsunami in his post, he says the waters of the earth are about to rise, suggesting it will be global in scope.

If a tsunami fits his description, then why not the tides? They rise and fall every day, and are much more global. His prediction or “prophecy”, by my reading, implies something more than either of those things, such as a global rise in sea levels like the global warming alarmists predict.

The only “flood” that I know of prophesied for the end days is this one (and it doesn’t sound like what he is talking about):

“15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.16 But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed from its mouth.”

A prophet who speaks for the Lord has to be 100% accurate. If he is not... well, I wouldn’t stand too close to him in a thunderstorm :>)

And... as far as I am concerned, there is no immunity. However, look what happened to the children who mocked Elijah. Fair warning... shebears abound :>)

He is a false prophet only if a prophecy does not come to pass..

Also if the prophet says true things but leads to people to worship false gods.

Hard to get anything definite from a disjointed ramble.
