Jedediah, I am also interested in your direct Yes or No answer to this simple question that wagglebee asked you.Do you believe that you are a prophet of God? Yes or No?
Based on my experience, don't hold your breath waiting for a clear answer. What you're likely to get is copy/pasted scripture not apropos of much of anything, and assertions that if you were only spiritual, you'd believe it. And veiled threats of divine retribution.

Please also examine #155, in which the poster hangs his entire argument from the hook of his own (alleged) personal experience and personal credibility? Is this not an example of "making it personal"? He has, it seems to me, very much made himself (rather than the original topic) the subject of discussion.Ping to interested parties.

At the time I see no profit or satisfaction in making substantive response to certain parties most known for noise, pyrotechnics and slogans. Wasted effort down a rathole.

The first question is: Jedediah, do you believe that you are a prophet of God? Yes or No?
The answer to that question is not in the Bible - I mean unless you believe you are one of the prophets in the Bible who has already answered the question.
The second question is: Do you [Jedediah] believe there is a distinction between a NT prophet and an OT prophet?
The answer to that question is just not in the Bible.
I think that after the first two questions the pattern was obvious, i.e., I was asking YOU what YOU believe. Only you can answer.
The Bible also has punctuation and capitalization.
Surely a prophet would know that.
