This is the only thing that will free this country again.
will humble themselves: get used to the idea that you're part of the problem. You helped make this mess....
and pray: if you're not asking for My help, you might not get it....
and seek My face: He's not just your Savior, He's supposed to be your Lord. Find out what He wants you to do, don't tell Him what you want to do....
and turn from their wicked ways: again, you've been part of the problem all along. If you don't admit it, and change what you're doing, don't expect things around you to change either....
then will I hear from heaven: notice it's an if/then equation. If you don't do all of the above, He won't hear you....
and will forgive their sin: you need to recognize that your country's problems are ultimately ethical ones, and that God [the person you are praying to/seeking the face of] sets the rules....
and will heal their land: note that this only comes at the end of everything above. If your priorities are out of whack, you probably think God needs to do this first - hence the need to seek His face....
This is the only thing that will free this country again.

The survival and Blessing of America does not depend on the heathen. It is in the hands of our loving and merciful God, and of His people, whom He has made to be the salt and the light of this world, until He comes again in glory and strength to finally and completely save us all.
