No, I am part of Christ's universal church. I do claim no allegiance to the Roman Catholic Church. It teaches bondage and law, contrary to the mission of Jesus Christ.
John 3: 31 "The one who comes from above is above all; the one who is from the earth belongs to the earth, and speaks as one from the earth. The one who comes from heaven is above all. 32 He testifies to what he has seen and heard, but no one accepts his testimony. 33 The man who has accepted it has certified that God is truthful. 34 For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God[k] gives the Spirit without limit. 35 The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands. 36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him."
It's as simple as that! Jesus calls us gently and promises us every thing we need. His plan doesn't include a bunch of guys in fancy clothes with smells and bells in the middle! He specifically excludes them!
Matthew 23: 8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
"If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him."
So why argue when we should really at least heed the advice to be ready.
That is the part of his message that really stands out as a biblical truth.
I Guess you guys are really just arguing about who is ready.
That, has been a long argument.
I guess I get the obvious man award.
This is the Catholic Church.
