Labor Day - Work, How Do You Value it?

Consider Your Work

The VALUE placed upon LABOR is a element in a society because it reflects the social structure as well as the scale of social values. One’ society, even globally, is in a state of change making for difficulties. Thus it is needful to maintain a good attitude toward work and tiol which affects not only society but one’s own soul.

It is Almighty God’s MERCY and GRACE which sets the right conditions - "In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return (Gen 3:19)" – lest IDLENESS should be the ruin of one’s soul and body. IDLENESS was not made for man, nor was man for IDLENESS.

The desire of the slothful (lazy man) killeth him; for his hands REFUSE to LABOR (Prov. 21:25). For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies (2 Thes 3:10-11).

In my conservative mind a rush/beck sandwich with me as the filling would R O C K! Of course, no hanky panky, just a super squeeze, but, can you imagine the power of the force infused?!?

Have a great day!

Working to pay taxes is overrated. Working for yourself and your family is a good thing.
