Seriously a pilot buddy of mine was paralyzed in an airplane crash and then met the love of his life and has been married happily for years...so not a total cynic here...;o)
My sister has been married over 20 years. Her husband has been wheel chair bound for 25 plus. She never knew him when he could walk. (motorcycle accident) They have a great marriage.
