Nothing new here. The American leadership of the Catholic Church has always been in bed with the Democrat Party on most issues...it seems that their political agenda trumps their spiritual agenda.

Ted Kennedy was a active promoter of the murder of innocent lives and he was divorced. Both in direct conflict with Church teachings...so how does he rate a Catholic Funeral other than as a political move by the Democrat Catholic Church?
