Furthermore, LDS women have never been mistreated by “Mormon men.” We are held in the highest esteem as daughters of our Heavenly Father.

You then need to pay more attention to my statements then, and not superimpose what some one else has said. With that said SD, your only hope to be with heavenly father is for your husband (or some other male) calling you there through the veil.

You should be careful with absolutes. How smith propositioned Orson pratt's wife and verbally abused her and threatened to ruin her reputation (History of the Saints)(attested to by multiple other sources). Apostle Heber C. Kimball considered his wives as 'cattle' or a commodity (real love there, how would you like to be considered as bossie?). Caroline Owens( in Matilda Joslyn Gage, Women, Church and State, 1998, pp. 238-240) writes how she was duped into polygamy, then raped by her 'husband'. Add this to the fact that polygamy by itself was abusive by its very nature.
