You are right. By taking the Eucharist, the nonbeliever is bringing condemnation upon themselves. The Church’s teaching regarding transubstantiation is the main reason I could no longer receive communion. Only a hypocrite would partake in a tradition reserved for the Faithful and thereby make a mockery of what the Church holds so dear. (And, of course Abomination is no hypocrite, right??) In long ago times, when the Eucharist was distributed, Church Law required that only the Faithful be present. Others were required to vacate the assembly. My question is, what priest of the Roman Catholic Church would commit such a distinctly forbidden act? (Assuming this really happened.)

Do you recall seeing the photo of the Archbishop in SF giving communion to the homosexuals dressed in Nuns' habit, their faces painted and wearing rainbow-colored boas?

I'll never forget that photo and it taught me a lot.
