If the RCC were convinced that popular acclaim was no indicator of theological truth, then it would not be so committed to parading its status as a separate country with gold coins being minted, its own Swiss Army protecting the head honchos with submachine guns, and the plethora of gold lined cathedrals. This is the “Church of Jesus Christ”? No kidding. What church advertises itself more? What church cries "discrimination" more? What church insinuates itself into governments and economies by suggesting its precepts be enforced "with teeth?"
