What I find rather ironic is that this thread is about a LETTER OF SUPPORT for the Pope that is signed by over sixty prominent Evangelicals. I have no doubt that SOME of them are known leftists, but it is also a FACT that many of them are on the faculties of colleges which are highly regarded among conservative Evangelicals. Why don't the anti-Catholic FReepers attack THEM?

Sometimes I wonder if the lot of them aren’t buried up to the tops of their pointed heads in their rubber “Bibles.”
I wouldn’t give 10 cents for the Biblial perceptiveness of all of them put together.
