Read the Ablaze! program....Missouri Synod is next.

Maybe WELS might be the last bastion of true protestant Christianity.

Amen. I have a number of MO Synod Lutheran friends. To a person, they are just wonderful God-fearing people who stand for Life and The Family as God created us to be.

I, myself, am not Lutheran (former Presbyterian turned Baptist) but genuine believers may be found in many "fundamentalist" denominations.

These disenfranchised ELCA folk, who feel comfortable with the "liturgical tradition" of the Lutheran Church, would be most welcomed by their MO Synod brothers and sisters.

Many have already left for the AFLC (another halfway decent one) and LCMS and WELS.

However, since they could not see fit to leave until BLATANT sin was in their midst, they are surely bringing a lot of doctrinal baggage that the LCMS, WELS, and AFLC are going to HAVE to actively confront in order to weed it out and prevent it from doing its natural message-diluting work in those denominations. I suspect, like most church bodies, that confronting false teaching and its effects will be a very hard job and most people in those denominations won't have the stomach for it. People are the same all over.
