You said that you don’t kill things. One must kill things if only by proxy to eat meat or living plants. The Jains practice a very reverent attitude towards life. They wear veils over their mouths to avoid breathing in bugs; they do not tread on insects and only eat fruit or other vegetation that has fallen from the tree or is already dead. They come very close to non hypocrisy when it comes to reverencing all life. Closer than most anyway.

I don't know who the 'Jains' are and I have no interest nor am I willing to waste my time to find out...

I used to be a hunter...I like meat...I know God provided these animals for our pleasure and for food...If I get hungry enough, I will kill an animal to eat it...Fish on the other hand are a different story...I'll kill a fish to eat it even if my freezer is full of meat...

I never really enjoyed trophy or fun killing of animals...I loved the hunt but alway felt a little bad when I would kill a beautiful deer, especially when I didn't need the meat...

And I certainly don't begrudge any Christian who does hunt for the sport...Just a personal thing with me...

A few years back I caught a 6 pound small mouth bass on a fly with a light pole...My fishing buddy suggested having this thing mounted and hung on the wall...He about flipped out when I turned it loose...I don't care to eat bass and I didn't want that fish staring at me every time I walked past it...

It's sad that you will try any angle you can to paint me as a hypocrite, or worse...But, oh well...

You said in a previous post that you don’t kill things any more. Now you glory in killing fish and will happily kill animals. Your story changes with every post.

You ought to look into the Jains. I have rarely come across a less hypocritical bunch.

I’m not the one who posts different and often conflicting statements in close juxtaposition.
