The Rev Ike is dead?
I didn't even know he was sick.
Yes he did pass away. Here is the obit from last year:

Please don’t compare Amill nor Premill believers with the heretical views of such as Harold Camping and his company, which is more as the cults of the JWs and Mormonism while all 3 views of the end-times (Pre, Amill, and Post-Millennialism) are acceptable within the true beliefs of the Christian Church while heretics such as Camping are not. I happen to be an Amillennialist myself but am also a true believer in the Lord Jesus Christ whereas Harold Camping has gone off the “deep end” and doesn’t believe in anything or anybody other then himself. I used to be in a similar church that Harold started out in, the Christian Reformed Church, but they were about to kick him out of it when he left anyway (it’s really too bad that I heard that he took some 60 people with him when he left) and it’s been downhill for him since that time he left the church to start his own cultic group. It is kind of ironic that now he doesn’t believe in hell either because if he doesn’t repent and believe in the true gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, then he will most-likely end up there! But, anyway, please don’t confuse us true Reformed Christians (Calvinists) with this heretic because we really believe in the Scriptures as God’s Word while Harold may have started out that way (though this has always been kind of doubtful in my mind), he is best described by John in his first Epistle as one of the many antichrists in this world: “Therefore we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for it they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us.” (1 John 2:19 ESV). In other words, Harold and his followers may have at one time been part of the Reformed Christian church, but he went out on his own and showed that in reality, he was and is one of the many antichrists in the world today. But don’t compare all Calvinistic Christians to him ever! Thanks.

This thread's an oldie.
Backtrack. There is no such intent. Sane dispensationalist BibChr commented on my snide tagline ("Dispensationalists say the darndest things!"). My reply (and a clarifying personal email) indicated that I did not include him among the fringe loonies haunting InterWebz conspiracy webboards, poring over the Books of Enoch and Jasher, and seeing recrudescent nephelim under every bush.
If you examine my Freerepublic personal page and posting history you may find us more alike than not.

I spent a decade and a half in the CRC, and remember it fondly. And, am distressed at what I hear is going on there now.
Something tells me Camping doesn’t adhear to that particular verse in Christ’s Olivet Prophecy because then there would be no point in making dates because he’d know he was wrong.
That’s also wrong unless you were making a joke.
I suppose that comment was wrong of me and i am not saying that Camping should die because that is un Christian but i think it would be a coincidince if that happend at 5/21/2011 not wishing death upon him.
I have a greater chance of being right than Camping.
Periodically I will hear his rants because my portable Sirius radio must be tuned to the same FM channel as local Family Radio. I too, think he should make a pledge ...that if he is wrong, there will be no Family Radio as of May 22, 2011. A 70's Country Hits format would be a welcome change.
By if you mean when he is wrong as what he is saying is completely against what the Bible Teaches.
Ah, Reverend Ike, who blatantly said, “I don’t like the kind of money that makes noise when you put it in the plate.”
God will end the age when he sees fit not when someone claiming to be a prophet says. God works in his own timeline and not the timeline of the supposed prophets.
Hey guys check this out apparently Harold Camping believes tha the whole No Man Knows the Day or the Hour of the end only applies to the Church.
I think at this point Camping just wants to die and he doesn’t care who he takes with him.
And what if he’s right, as most of us believe? Then the rest of use will look like fools!

to find interview Frank Beckmann did with ....
Allison Warden and Brother Mike
“And thank you for posting and sharing.”
And thank you for posting and sharing.
“And Shall we take our next call please... welcome to open forum...” :)
So wait along with Harold Camping these two people Allison and Mike Warden have also recieved special knowledge from God that Jesus is coming back May 21st 2011. Um okay so apparently we have 3 people that don’t adhear to the whole No Man Knows the Day or the Hour of my coming not even the angels in heaven nor the son but only the father rule in the Bible.
It’s interesting that these people who did this interview said that the Bible must have final authority in everything but yet they are predicting Christ’s return. Isn’t there something wrong with that.
