Of course it is...All the writers of the scriptures were equally inspired....
If they are equally inspired, then St. Paul's letters and James are harmonious and coherent doctrines, not contradictory statements. There cannot be more than one Truth. If the Bible appears to contradict itself, that's a good indication one is reading it wrong.

If the Bible appears to contradict itself, that's a good indication one is reading it wrong. That isn't necessarily true. While the Scriptures may have been penned under Divine guidance, that doesn't mean that men couldn't make changes to suit their agendas. Lest you should think that I am only referring to the NT, let me say that I suspect that there are 'variations' in beliefs represented in both of the Testaments.
