I thought so to when I first heard it too. I went through a class on what became the seven humpies of the bible. It all dealt with the six day, six thousand year pattern in the bible. Up to the time of Jesus it was 4000 years since Adam and Eve and there for the fourth day. Then we began studying 2 day references in the New Testament equaling 2000 years for the return of Christ or should I say promise of His return and the end of the 6th day and then the 7th day of Rest the Millennial reign of Christ.
