Another scam. Tim LaHaye found out there was more money to be made in writing fiction. Plus you have a built in excuse -- "it's only fiction" means it doesn't need to be true to reality (i,e,. the Bible).
The "Christian" buying public has never proved itself to be very discerning in these matters. They like to have their ears tickled.
