I agree with your point about the ECUSA and I’m glad to know there are Anglicans fighting these heresies. But I have a further question — aren’ you guys technically still in communion with the ECUSA then? How can you do that?

No we are not in communion with them. That is why a 20 year fight has gone on for them to repent or us to leave. Recently, they violated an agreement with the Anglican communion and that set in motion the acceptence of a new Provence that is seperate. Some say that if they continue to go down the path they are on that they will be asked to leave the communion. The ECUSA and the Canadian counterpart allow things that even the liberal Church od England does not allow. All anglicans may not not be Calvinists but they are strong in Faith to the Trinity and the teaching of the Word.

I did visit once when my wife was taking some course about religion and art. The deacon was nice and visited with us for a while after we had to exit before the communion. And I’ve gone to a few of the food festivals there over the years.

If I was Anglican, I’d probably go to Christ Church Plano, but they are more evangelical than high church. Of course, you could probably say the same about the big Catholic churches in that area as well.

You are right about Christ Church - they are part of the Anglican Mission In America group of churches. They sound as much like a Baptist church as anglican. It is very much a cross breeding. I am not choose to be a member of their chruch, we go to the more conservative version St. Vincent in Bedford, but the folks at ChristChurch bring a lot of people to the Lord.

Ok, THAT I was not aware of — I think it’s good that you’re not in communion with the ECUSA and have brought the true Christians into a separate church.
