The Christian Party and Christian People's Alliance are running a joint slate
The Christian Party and Christian People's Alliance have increased their share of the vote to come eighth in the European Parliament election.
The parties, who fielded joint candidate lists, received a total of 249,493 votes - 1.6% of votes cast.
It was the first time a Christian party had run in every region of Britain.
"The challenge is now to build on our result at grassroots level and begin to make ourselves known," federal executive member Dr Tom Rogers said.
"We do not despise the day of small beginnings and look to our friends across Europe, who better established, have succeeding in returning Christian MEPs to the Parliament," he added.

interesting
It’s a step...people are awaking over there and we’re asleep.
Finally people are standing up to the Islamofacist and the Socialist that enable them. At least in Europe.
Over the years, I've met few western Europeans who actually had faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Even had an argument with one Finnish girl while in college about it (she was one of those "It doesn't matter what you believe in, as long as you believe" people. The discussion blew up when I mentioned that the Nazis "truly believed" as well).
I mention it because I don't see much faith in western Europe, and it appears that Islam is filling the spiritual vacuum left when the Christian church in Europe became a damp, lukewarm puddle of spit in the wake of the World Wars. Is the incursion of Sharia Law and Islamic intimidation re-awakening western Europeans to the Gospel of Jesus Christ?
Eastern Europeans, Africans, and even Japanese and Chinese I've met appear to be strong followers of Christ (may be few in numbers but strong in faith). Of course, belonging to a church with strong ties to a small Wesleyan college and Seminary may influence me with that (lots of Africans and Asians at both schools).
One of the professors, Doctor Toshiro, was a Kamikaze at the end of WW II (he was a 13 year old kid and was going to fly into ships when the Americans invaded...). When the war ended, he became a street urchin and was saved by an American missionary at a street revival. He has a personalized bumper car tag, "KAMKAZE". I always tell him, "You weren't a very good Kamikaze pilot...I'm still talking to you".
I would say it’s diverse like the Pro-life movement. I believe they’re like-minded people who are probably using these already established parties as a vehicle in order to fight Islam and their Marxist governments. Not unlike the pro-life movement which is also diverse.
