Frankly, I think there are few FReepers who have the time to read a post this long, unless it is on a subject with which they are personally obsessed (e.g. Creation vs. Evolution). Basically, Christianity is not about social organization (although the Left tries to warp it into that), but about the attitude of individuals toward God and toward other individuals.
Incidentally, I don't think anyone ever asked Jesus about slavery, so you can't blame Him for not opposing it. He did meet with soldiers and never rebuked them or told them to change professions, which destroys the Leftist claim that Christians must be pacifists and that war is always evil.
You make a good point about the Freepers and the time they have. However this was posted to the religious listings and most of the religious articles are very long, that I guess is why most of them do not have a lot of views or comments.
That being said the author of this piece is a Freeper him or herself (I'm not sure which it is) and they usually get a lot of traffic. I also think I read somewhere that the person has a contract to publish all their work on the blog it originates and that is why I did not post the whole article. We need to keep the right in business not put them out of business by going against their wishes.
As for the whole slavery issue, I think most people need to think about this question in the time frame of when Christ lived. Slavery really was a way for many to live. Without a benefactor to look out for them they would literally die in the gutter. Judah being different because of Gods provisions set forth in His law to the Israelites.
