The holy cornerstone for the Third Temple will be transported by the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement as they march on Jerusalem Day, 27 Iyar 5769 (May 21, 2009). It will be driven from Ammunition Hill to the Jaffa Gate, along the western walls of the Old City to the downtown streets of Jerusalem. There it will be presented to the people of Israel and to the entire world for the first time since the destruction of the Holy Temple in 70 CE.
Since 1967, Jerusalem Day has become one of the most important holidays in Israel. This public holiday commemorates the liberation of the Temple Mount, the biblical city of Jerusalem, the City of David and the biblically significant areas of Judea, Samaria, Gaza, the Golan Heights and the Sinai Peninsula. All of this happened in the Six Day War of 1967. It was then that G‑d returned the Temple Mount in Jerusalem to His People Israel so that they would immediately rebuild His Holy Temple in order to renew biblical worship there.
The Jerusalem Day march of the Temple Mount Faithful will begin at Ammunition Hill, located in northern Jerusalem. This was the site of some of the most heroic action during the Six Day War. Intense fighting took place from bunker to bunker. Israeli soldiers sacrificed their lives in battle for the G‑d of Israel, for the Holy City of Jerusalem and for the Temple Mount. Ammunition Hill became the symbol of both Israeli heroism and the fighting together of G‑d and His people Israel in fulfillment of His prophetic Word.
The marchers will be led by a truck carrying the holy cornerstone for the Third Temple. The cornerstone, weighing 13 tons, will be carried on the back of the truck, underneath a chuppah, and decorated with Israeli flags, the Star of David and Temple flags. Silver trumpets reconstructed for future worship in the Third Temple will be blown throughout the march.
On the way to the Temple Mount, the marchers will stop in front of the United States Consulate. Here they will present whatever the G‑d of Israel puts onto their hearts as a stance against the growing pressure from US President Barack Obama. They will warn him about his desire to divide the Land of Israel in order to establish a foreign, terror-filled Arab state inside the sovereign Land of Israel. (This land was given by G‑d to the Jewish people alone in an eternal covenant.) The marchers will also warn him concerning his pressure to stop Jewish settlement of the Land and to remove the settlements in Judea and Samaria. They will call out to President Obama: "Take your hands off the Land of the G‑d and the people of Israel!" They will warn him of the divine judgment from G‑d as prophesied by the Prophet Joel: "For behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring back the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down in the valley of Jehosophat, and will enter into judgment with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and have divided up my land" (Joel 4:2).
When the marchers arrive at the Jaffa Gate in Jerusalem, they will blow the silver trumpets and swear their faithfulness to Jerusalem while dancing with the flags. They will then continue through the Old City and ascend to the Holy Temple Mount. There they will swear their faithfulness and devotion to the G‑dly anointing on the Faithful Movement to build the third Temple of G‑d in our lifetime.
When the marchers arrive at the Jaffa Gate in the Old City, the holy cornerstone will continue to the downtown streets of Jerusalem, where it will be presented to the people of Israel and to the entire world. This great occasion will be one of the most exciting events that Israel has experienced during this special end time age.
Everyone is invited to participate in this exciting, historic and G‑dly event. Everyone is called to actively join, come and stand together, and help the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement complete her major and historic campaign to build the Temple of G‑d and to bring to pass all of G‑d's end time prophetic plans for Israel and the entire world.
In the G‑d of Israel we trust!

Haven’t heard of this before; very interesting.
BLESSED BE THE NAME AND WORD OF THE LORD.
AMEN! AMEN! AMEN!
When they get close to the Temple Mount, it's going to start an all out war with the demons who hide in Muslim bodies! Suicide bombers are going to be working overtime!
Just as a FWIW...
I don’t know if this will be a more dramatic time than before, or not.
Thx.
I know.
I still love seeing it happen.
The cornerstone WILL BE LAID. THE NEW TEMPLE WILL BE BUILT . . . IN PERILOUS TIMES.
Have they decided on the spot yet?
You said — Havent heard of this before; very interesting.

Actually, it’s been happening repeatedly, with such regularity, that hardly anyone pays attention to them any more.
However, if you want to pay attention to something, then watch the following group, as they are preparing the priests for duties, preparing the Temple furnishings and implements, and preparing for the actual rebuilding of the Third Temple.
It’s an “official” organization and they’re the ones who have the *most* to say and do about the coming Third Temple. They’ve even already cast the solid gold Menora, for the Temple (it has to be cast in gold as all one piece; a lot of gold...).

“Thirteen Ton Temple Corner Stone to Be Presented to the People of Israel”

This particular group has been trying to give that rock “to the people of Israel” for years. The only problem is — the people won’t take it... LOL...
For a more serious look at the Third Temple in Jerusalem, look at this group, instead...

You asked — Have they decided on the spot yet?
—
Well now..., that’s the real problem, ain’t it?
LOL...

Actually, of the three proposed sites, I think it’s the northern site.
You said — The Second Temple was built by Zerubbabel and completed by Herod.
—
There are *some* who count it differently and say that Herod’s was the Third Temple. So, while I might call the coming Temple the Third Temple, there are those who might call it the Fourth Temple.
The Temple Institute calls it the Second Temple, as well as Israeli archaeologists. The reason is that the Tamid Offering was uninterupted except for a break of 1150 days during the time of the Maccabean Revolt.
Yeah, I know that most do; I was just saying that there are some who don’t use that convention. So, the other poster who mentioned that wasn’t just making that one up. It does come from somewhere.
As for myself, I use the convention of the Third Temple coming up (in the future)...
BUMP!
I have heard about certain preparations but not about a specific cornerstone nor of the related event. Thank you for the information—an exciting time to live, particularly if one gets to see the Third Temple take its rightful place.
I think this has been done every year since around maybe 1996 or thereabouts.
An article written in 2001 by Hal Lindsey, about Gershon Salomon.
Every year, it seems, I write that title, and every year the same copy follows it. This year, the only thing significantly different is that the Arabs aren’t claiming the uprising was “spontaneous.” In fact, the PA-controlled media and the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem had begun preparing for this uprising weeks in advance.
A group of religious Jews attempt to place a cornerstone for a Third Temple on Temple Mount. Every year, Gershon Salomon applies for the necessary permits from the Israeli government. Every year, his group is refused permission. Salomon’s group, known as the Temple Mount Faithful, carries the four-ton cornerstone as close as they are allowed to go.
And each year, huge rocks and chunks of concrete rain down on the worshippers at the Western Wall from 70 feet above.
The event takes place during the fast of Tisha B’av, the day of mourning for the destructions of the First and Second Temples on that date. It was also the anniversary of the deportation of the Jews from England in 1290 and Spain in 1492.
There is a specific irony in that Gershon Salomon, of all Israelis, should be denied access to the Temple Mount by his own government. Gershon Salomon was among those who captured the Temple Mount area during the 1967 War.
Gershon Salomon is widely regarded as the leader of a fringe element, but his is a remarkable story. A 10th generation sabra? he served in every war since 1948 when he was still a child. He was wounded during a battle with the Syrians in 1958. Salomon was accidentally run over by an Israeli tank. It folded him backward, breaking his spine. He learned to walk again on crutches, and, during the Six Days War, to fight on them. It was on those crutches that Salomon participated in the battle to capture the Temple nine years later. And on those crutches that he became one of the first Jews to set foot on Temple Mount in nearly 2000 years.
Salomon is an ardent Israeli nationalist no doubt about it. But what makes him a “fringe” nationalist is the reason for his patriotism. Salomon believes he was chosen by God to build the Third Temple of Israel. He believes he must accomplish it in this generation because this is the generation in which the Messiah will come.
Salomon bases his beliefs on Old Testament prophecy. He argues that there are three Biblical conditions for the coming of the Messiah and the redemption of Israel:
* the re-gathering of Jews to the Land of Promise;
* the foundation of Israeli State; and
* the rebuilding of the Temple.
Two of three prophecies have been fulfilled. His group intends to bring about the fulfillment of the third. Then, he argues, the Messiah will come.

You’ll see a picture on the first page where the three sites are. I think it’s the north site, actually.
