I don't see ONE seat empty...I even saw Obama logo on hats...When you own the young, you own the country. America is gone. I am so so so sad...
It’s disgraceful.....
don’t get too upset. Think about it. The only people there are people who support him. If I were graduating from Notre Dame today, I would not be there.
Oh stop it...
The colleges framed their young minds...reality is now going to set in and they will learn quick that Socialism is not the answer they should have been fed for 4 years...
When they have to move back in with Mom and Dad with no move out date in sight they are going to wake up...
I do not think one should not attend their graduation just because the One is there...rather I hope many are attending despite him and will leave there today with a horrible taste in their young mouths...
barry’s supporters would ensure every seat was filled even if they had go drag bums off the street
do not despair
“many will be deceived”
MANY are onto Obama. Media IGNORES those that speak out against the EVIL one. I am sad for the kids that don't see through him. Critical thinking skills and knowledge is what they lack. I predict Obama will be the most hated President on out history. When these kids GET THE BILL, they will HATE HIM.
From the spiritual perspective, it could very well be He is coming for His own soon. It's a bitter sweet time.
However, if I had earned my degree there I would be there but would stand and turn my back when Obama spoke.
I also would not acknowledge nor shake his hand when receiving my diploma.....
They support Obama. Catholic youth support the man who opposed the Born Alive Infant Act in the same percentages as other youth.
They're young and impressionable. It happens. Ask the Buchenwald surviors.
Actually this is good news, Catholics are finally protesting Odumbo and are starting to realize that America elected the most radical pro abortion resident ever
Just wait until these mush headed young people are drafted to fight in Obama’s Wars. These are “sunshine Liberals” they are real believers when things are going well and Mommy and Daddy are paying all the bills, just wait—real life will teach them better lessons than any college class. When they turn on Obama it is not going to be pretty—and turn on him they will.
Give him three more years....
I feel the same way.
Less then 25 percent of elegible youth receive a Bachalors degree. We are worring about 2000 students today.
2000 who are the center of a major media onslaught...
I think many will leave with a horrible taste in their mouth and Notre Dame will never be the “ IVY” league school it once was due to all of this.....
I am tearing up as well. I have been commenting on this the past few days, but as an outsider, since I’m no longer Catholic.
But what must God think of our country, that so many here have such little regard for life? I think the worst thing is that the people at ND all seem just elated to be there, to see this POTUS in their presence, instead of reflecting on what his policies will do to the presence of life.
I think we are all weeping for how much this must hurt our Lord.
That is exactly why I suggest that Mom and Dad sell out and buy a one bedroom condo when the last fledgling leaves the nest...
8^)
I’m watching Indy 500 practice and qualifying , followed shortly by a little golf and a nap, likely concurrently.
Just Change channels.. accept that a tyrant has the stage and go on living. stuff happens.
What is IS
What will be will be.. (/doris day)
some of them will be less elated when they are forced by federal law to participate in abortion, homosexual indoctrination and euthanasia as “civil rights” and citizen obligations
Well, with a reply like that, no wonder why we are loosing our country and values. Sorry Sir, but I love my country and will not give up even though am loosing hope when I see so many American not reacting to fascism.
I have been saying the very same thing, altho I would turn my back for a moment of silence and walk out.
The underlying principle at the heart of America's constitutional protections, according to Thomas Jefferson, is declared in these words:
"The God who gave us life, gave us liberty at the same time: the hand of force may destroy, but cannot disjoin them."
Life and liberty, therefore, once "endowed" by the "Creator," are inseparable and "unalienable." Thus, the first claim asserted by America's Founders was to an inherent, "Creator-endowed," unalienable and inseparable right to life and liberty which is prior to the right of any other being's determination (including the woman whose body houses the developing child).
If rights came to us by "grants" from individuals or collections of individuals (judges, legislators, or the executive branch), then the consequence of that idea would be that those rights would be "alienable"--an idea in opposition to the Declaration and the Constitution's goal of securing the "Blessings of Liberty."
Hopefully, more and more Americans will come to realize that "ideas have consequences." In the society, once the concept is accepted that life and liberty are not inherent and derived from the Creator, but by permission (grant) of individuals or government, then no person's life and liberty is secure at any point.
The question being highlighted by today's events at Notre Dame is crucial to the preservation of liberty for all citizens--not just those in the womb.
