Exactly(and I am a Protestant). If a priest is committing child molestation, or fornication, or adultery, or pederasty, or homosexuality he is not by very definition of the word celibate.

In a pornographic culture where unrestrained sexuality has become mainstream, a discipline like celibacy is seen as an aberration and essentially unhealthy. It must lead to trouble. It's incomprehensible that anyone could take faith that seriously.

Thus, any scandalous behavior by clergy is immediately seized upon as evidence to back up the anti-celibate viewpoint.

Of course the media never has an explanation for the behavior of these deviants or these. That's because the media hates God and His Church.
