"the first stop on his eight-day Holy Land pilgrimage. He told King Abdullah II upon his arrival in Amman that he has "deep respect" for Islam, and on Saturday he was welcomed in the country's largest mosque"

I'm afraid he's ushering in the AntiChrist.
There is no reason nor sense in any worship of a Catholic in a mosque as a Muslim would not worship in a church.
The two are anathema to each other.

...what's he doing saying any prayers in a Mosque? Yeah, because EVERYONE KNOWS that God doesn't hear prayers in mosques or temples (Buddhist, Jewish, or Mormon), and definitely doesn't hear prayers in the athiest streets of Hollywood...

...what's he doing saying any prayers in a Mosque? Such as "God help these people change their ways"? Hard for any of us to judge if we don't know what he prayed. That is between him and God.
