Ah, but we don't. We keep the Sabbath, or Shabbat in Hebrew. We call it the "Seventh day" [yom ha-sh'vi'i] or "Shabbat" - we would never correlate it to the name of a pagan deity. I always wondered if this was in the Vulgate, or in the New Jerusalem Bible:
And in all that I have said to you, be circumspect and make no mention of the name of other gods, nor let it be heard from your mouth. Exodus 23:13
