You are correct, most people would not know Mary Ann Glendon...

However, she is one up on Caroline Kennedy -- daughter of JFK. The Vatican REFUSED TO ALLOW CAROLINE TO BECOME AMBASSADOR TO THE VATICAN FOR THE UNITED STATES.
